krelly13's Fotobabble

Assignment Title: Erin's Fotobabble

Uses in the Classroom: Fotobabble can be used for a variety of different reasons in an educational setting. For starters students can use it as an icebreaker to introduce themselves to their peers. Students could share a picture of themselves or a hobby.

Teachers and students could also use Fotobabble as an instructional tool to learn about different subjects. This website could be extremely helpful teaching things related to science or social studies. Teachers would be able to give their students a closer look at a particular unit of study. It also is a great resource for students to start sharing educational information.

Issues to Consider: Like most things surrounding technology there are always certain factors one has to consider when assigning something like Fotobabble as an assignment. Things such as internet access, device availability, student capabilities, and for this particular tool the use of a microphone. Teachers would need to make accommodations for younger students as far as understanding how to use the technology. Another thing that must be considered is website access. Certain schools may have their internet settings set so that this website might not be accessible on the school network.
